Intellectual and academic freedom is fundamental to the University's purpose, values, mission, teaching and research. In many cases these aims will be compatible with and complementary to our policies and procedures; however, in the event of any conflict between our policies and procedures and the University's Code of Practice on Freedom of Speech, the Code of Practice will take precedence.
