Occupational Health

What we do

Occupational Health (OH) is concerned with how work and the work environment can affect an employee’s health, and how employee health can affect a person’s ability to do the job. The OH department aims to provide a high quality, responsive advice and support service to managers and employees at Oxford Brookes University.

Training courses

Occupational Health organises and delivers a range of courses for first aiders, employees and managers working in conjunction with OCSLD and the HR Management team. This includes:

  • Attendance management
  • First aid
  • Mental health first aid
  • Managing mental wellbeing and stress at work.
