The International Student Advice Team (ISAT) organise events and workshops to help you to settle into life in the UK and at Oxford Brookes University. Arrivals activities are organised ahead of, and during Induction Week and we will update this page regularly.

Student Visa Application Workshops

If you are joining us in September, take part in one of our online workshops to get useful information and advice regarding the process of receiving your CAS, the documents required for your Student Visa application, and the process of receiving your visa and travelling to the UK.

Click on the link to join the online Zoom workshop on one of the following dates. You don't need to register for a Zoom account to join.

Preparing for Your Arrival Workshops

If you are a new international student joining us in September, join one of our online preparing for your arrival workshops to receive information on: How to arrive at your accommodation, what to bring, the UK culture, how to make friends, and what happens next. You will also get the chance to meet other new students.

You can join our workshop on one of the following dates:

  • Wednesday 29 July 11.00am
  • Thursday 13 August 11.00am
  • Wednesday 26 August 11.00am
  • Wednesday 2 September 14.30pm

You will need to register beforehand to join by going to the link below and completing the registration form.

Induction Week Workshops

When: Between Saturday 12 September 2026 and Wednesday 16 September 2026

Booking: No booking is required, however please note that for the in person sessions, we have limited capacity (first come first served basis), so please make sure you arrive on time to join.
