Students of Colour Group (21 October) - Navigating difficult conversations

This group provides a unique place of refuge and safety for students to reflect on any experiences and connect with peers

This group provides a unique place of refuge and safety for students to reflect on any experiences that may impact their academic and social experience at Oxford, and learn from and connect with your peers. The group meets every second week on Wednesday afternoon, during semester time, facilitated by Student Support Services Staff. Email studentsupportservices@brookes.ac.uk for more information. This week we discuss responding to stereotypes, insensitive comments, microaggressions, or awkward questions from peers and staff; deciding when something is worth challenging.
