Entry requirements for Bangladesh
- Completion of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Intermediate Certificate PLUS a recognised foundation course.

We are able to consider the 4 year diploma in Engineering, awarded by the Bangladesh Technical Board, Dhaka for entry into our undergraduate degree courses. We would normally consider a minimum percentage of 65% overall, with high grades for relevant subjects. Please note, for courses with subject specific requirements, applications will be assessed on a case by case basis, and may be subject to faculty review.
GCSE equivalencies:
- GCSE grade B / grade 5 equivalent: 3
- GCSE grade C / grade 4 equivalent: 3
If you do not meet our minimum undergraduate requirements, you may still be able to apply for one of our foundation courses.
Qualifications equivalent to a UK bachelor degree:
- Completion of a Bachelor degree. Bachelor degrees must be at least 4 years in duration. Degrees studied for less than 4 years are not acceptable for direct entry to Postgraduate courses.

Minimum English language requirements
One of the following:
- IELTS 6.0 - 7.0, with 6.0 in reading and writing, and 5.5 in listening and speaking
- Pre-sessional University English
- We may be able to accept alternative qualifications as evidence of your English language skills
