Welcome to Oxford Brookes University

At Oxford Brookes University, we are proud of our diverse international student community, and we welcome a large cohort of students from the USA onto our campuses every year. Thinking of transferring from a US college?

At Oxford Brookes, we welcome transfer students. Many of our students join us after spending one, two, or three years at a US university or community college. To apply, submit your application indicating that you'd like to transfer credits, upload your transcripts, and we’ll assess your credits for you. Applications are also open for those with an Associate Degree.

Mechanical Engineering

By combining theory and hands-on learning, our Mechanical Engineering master’s degree helps you get ready for a career in the field. Our facilities include a High Voltage Energy Storage lab and Joining Technology Research Centre.

Publishing Media

Our MA Publishing Media includes future-facing aspects of the industry as well as its heritage. You’ll cover storytelling across different types of media and channels. With our employability focus, you’ll tackle the real challenges facing the industry such as AI.

International Business Management

This accredited course will prepare you for a successful international career with either a commercial or not-for-profit organisation. Our course is uniquely structured, linking theory and practice.

Undergraduate minimum entry requirements

  • High School Diploma with minimum of 3.0 GPA. A GPA lower than 3.0 would require a Foundation course.
  • Please check the individual course listing and use the equivalency table to work out your specific requirement.

US Student loans

If you are a student from the United States, you may be able to fund your studies at Oxford Brookes University through US Federal Student Aid Loans or Sallie Mae private loans.

Federal Student Aid loans (FAFSA)

Eligible students can apply for US Federal Student Aid loans by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using the Oxford Brookes school code G20879. These loans can contribute towards tuition fees and living costs while studying at Oxford Brookes.

Sallie Mae loans

You may also choose to apply for a private loan offered by Sallie Mae, to help cover any additional costs.
