Headington Campus building tours

Below you can find video tours of some of the most commonly used spaces across the Headington Campus. These videos were kindly produced for us by a team of undergraduate Digital Media Production students, so you are seeing the buildings through students' eyes!

You can ask the Student Induction Team more about campus including which buildings you'll be using the most, where to find different campus facilities and how to travel between our sites and Oxford city.

What is Headington Campus?

Headington Campus sits one mile east of Oxford city centre and is made up of three sites:

Gipsy Lane Site
Headington Hill
Marston Road Site

Gipsy Lane Site and Headington Hill Site are on opposite sides of Headington Road. Marston Road Site is approximately 20 minutes' walk away. The term 'Headington Campus' properly refers to all three of these sites, but is also commonly used by staff and students to refer to Gipsy Lane and Headington Hill.

Study buildings

Abercrombie

Study space for Architecture and Built Environment students plus Avo café.

Clerici

Home of the Oxford Brookes Business School, study space and the Clerici café.

Fuller

Meeting rooms and classrooms for any students on any course.

Gibbs

Teaching space for Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences students.

John Henry Brookes

The main building - contains the library, the Student Hub, food outlets and more.

John Payne

Workshop space for Architecture and Sport and Coaching students.

Lloyd

General teaching spaces for any student on any course.

New Headington Hill

The home of Engineering and Computing. Study spaces, classrooms and a café.

Richard Hamilton

Classrooms and specialist spaces for Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences students.

Sinclair and Annex

The home of Health, Science and Technology students whose courses are taught at Headington Campus.

Tonge

Teaching spaces and a Mac suite for Arts, Humanities and Social Science students.

Other buildings

Brookes Sport

Gyms, climbing walls, studio spaces, courts and pitches, plus a bar and café.

Buckley

Student Support Services and the Multifaith Chaplaincy are based here.

The Colonnade

Includes the Co-op store, the dentists’ practice and the Brookes Medical Centre.
