Researcher Development Matrix

OBU’s Researcher Development Matrix outlines the training, professional development opportunities, resources, support, policies and key information available to research-active staff of all career stages (from Research Assistant to Professor).

It maps this provision against the four domains of the externally-recognised Vitae Researcher Development Framework, which covers the knowledge, behaviours and attributes of researchers. The OBU Researcher Development Matrix organises training and development by the following four career stages, as listed below:

Newly appointed research-active staff, at any level of seniority

Early career researchers and research-only staff

Mid-career research active staff

Senior research active staff
