Oxford Brookes University has a community of around 4,000 postgraduates.
Students come from more than 90 countries worldwide. Oxford Brookes Business School values the academic and cultural contribution international students bring to its master's programmes.
Recognising that international students may have particular concerns about studying and living overseas, a network of support services, in addition to the academic support provided by your personal tutor, has been developed to provide assistance and guidance.
If you want to boost your confidence, improve your study skills and meet the language requirements for your hospitality master's, you can take an
Oxford Brookes pre-master's course. You will develop your reading and research skills, learn how to participate effectively in seminars, and conduct an extended writing project. You will also improve your subject knowledge in your chosen academic field.
If you only need to raise your English level to meet the requirements of your degree you should take our
pre-sessional English course. If you pass with satisfactory grades you will not need to retake a language test like IELTS to progress to your degree.
Programme Administrators will advise you on these courses.
We value the academic and cultural contribution made by international students to the university and to our master's degrees. The global nature of our programmes makes your input vital.
"I met with other international students to socialise and attend day trips, sporting events and nights out."
