Contact the News and Media Team for support and guidance with newsworthy stories, media training, filming and handling media requests and appearances.

Public Affairs and Events

Email Matthew Butler, Head of Public Affairs at m.butler@brookes.ac.uk for support and guidance with influencing policy and engaging key stakeholders at a local or national level.

Submit an event listing

  • If you are planning an event that involves an external speaker, please make sure you have completed the University’s external speaker request form. If your event will involve any licensed activities (e.g, supplying alcohol or playing live music), please complete the licenced activity authorisation form at least 10 days before the event.

Community Engagement

The Community Engagement team works to develop positive relationships with local stakeholders, contribute to community events and support our students to be responsible neighbours.
