Our events take place in the Multifaith Chaplaincy spaces and around campus. They are free and open to all - come along, meet the team and make some new friends.
The Multifaith Chaplaincy is for every member of the University, whatever your beliefs, culture, or worldview.
Our arrivals week events will take place on Headington campus, unless otherwise stated. Students of all faiths, cultures and worldviews are welcome at our events.

The International Student Club will run weekly in the same time and venue, except week 1. It is led by Jonnie and Gail, International Chaplains, with volunteers from the Christian charity Friends International.
A welcoming and inclusive community for students to explore the Bible together. We encourage challenging questions and try to avoid easy answers. Students from all faiths and worldviews are welcome in the conversation; we will not pressure you to change.

Student Bible study will run every Thursday throughout semester. In our conversations we aim to be queer inclusive, disability positive and anti-racist. The group is led by Rev. Kate Harford.

Dr Randeep, Sikh Chaplain, also leads the Gurbani reading group every Tuesday in Think Space at 6.30pm.
Meet other students and the Sikh chaplain and discuss spiritual teachings and literature in the Sikh and other north Indian traditions. No prior knowledge is needed and there will be no homework!

The Gurbani reading group runs every week in Think Space. It is led by Randeep Singh Soin, Sikh Chaplain.
Meet Rabbi Moish and Tanya, share tea and snacks, and set up the Sukkah ahead of Sukkot (starting in the evening of Fri 25 September).
You do not have to be religious to have tea with the chaplains. Anyone who is looking for a Jewish community on campus is welcome.

Quiet prayer with lectio divina ('sacred reading') focused on the Gospel of Mark.
Each week, we will prayerfully read a short passage from the Gospel of Mark using an ancient, step-by-step approach called lectio divina. There is no need to have any prior knowledge. Bring yourself, an open heart, and your need for a little quiet in a busy week.

Praying through the Bible runs every week at the same time in the Garden Room. The group is led by Rev. Heather, Anglican Chaplain.
Fr. Ziggy, Catholic Chaplain, will celebrate Mass to welcome in the new year. Come together as a community, share the sacrament with others who share your faith. All are welcome, you do not have to be Catholic to join us.

Experience a traditional prayer service with music performed by world-class singers in the beautiful, 12th century Christ Church Cathedral. We will walk from campus and there will be a chance to view the cathedral after Evensong.

The trans* peer support group will meet at the same time every week. After the formal group time, the room will be available for 30 mins for informal socialising.
A time of quiet in the Quaker tradition. In our time together, people may break the silence to share short thoughts about spirituality or the way the world is. You do not have to sit in total stillness and silence. This week, there will be time to meet other people and ask questions or share your experience of the silence.
