Deposit deadline for January 2023 entry closing on 8 November

This year, we have seen an unprecedented increase in applications for our January intake. We want to ensure that we can provide all of our new students with the best experience possible on their course. In order for us to do this, we have had to make the difficult decision to stop taking tuition fee deposits from a number of countries for January 2023 earlier than planned.

Please note we will be unable to accept any further tuition fee deposits after 8 November 2022 for applicants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Ghana, India, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan and Syria.

We understand that this will be disappointing news, however we would still love for you to become part of the Oxford Brookes community.

If you have been unable to pay your deposit this time, we would like to offer you a place on our next available intake. Please complete our deferral form if you would like to join Oxford Brookes in September 2023 or later. After you have completed and submitted the deferral form you will receive an update from our Admissions team.

If you have any questions about your application or offer, please contact our Admissions team at admissions@brookes.ac.uk.

Applying for January 2023 entry

This year, we have seen a substantial increase in applications from students in Nigeria and want to ensure that we can support as many of these students as possible through the visa application process. In order for us to do this we have had to take the difficult decision to close applications earlier than planned for the January 2023 entry. The deadline for applications from students from Nigeria will now be 7 October 2022and we will be unable to accept any further tuition fee deposits after 8 November 2022.

Please note that due to unprecedented demand, we will only be accepting applications for all 2023 intakes from students applying through one of our contracted agents. You can see a full list of our agents below. Please contact the Nigeria office if you need further support and guidance.

If you are made an offer you will be required to make an £8,000 deposit payment to secure your place at Oxford Brookes. The deposit will be deducted from your first tuition fees payment. Details of how to make this payment will be communicated in your offer letter. If you are starting in January and pay the full deposit by 4 November 2022, you will be eligible for our £2,000 International Student Scholarship.

Please note we will be unable to accept any further tuition fee deposits after 8 November 2022 for applicants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Ghana, India, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan and Syria.
