Student bus passes

Oxford Brookes students can buy a discounted CityZone bus pass to save hundreds of pounds a year on sustainable travel in Oxford. This pass provides access to a range of Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel services across the city centre and the majority of greater Oxford. View the CityZone network map.

The University has committed to provide this discounted travel offer for at least three years from July 2026.

Other ways to get discounted bus travel

Oxford Brookes students can benefit from a range of additional bus and coach travel discounts such as single and multi-tickets and season passes.

You can get a Brookes CityZone Single ticket by showing your student ID card to the driver on the bus and paying using contactless or cash. Oxford Brookes students pay £2 for a single (the standard price is £2.80).

The Oxford Brookes Transport Services Team will have a help desk on Headington Campus on certain dates during Induction Week and the first week of classes. You'll be able to check specific details on the events calendar from Friday 28 August.
