Our venues at the Headington Campus are ideal for those wanting stand-alone facilities in one building.

Availability

Rooms are available to hire all year round but there is greater availability at evenings, weekends, and during the holidays in January, Easter, and Summer periods.

Room hire prices start from £540.00 for half a day or £900.00 for a full day.

John Henry Brookes Building

Capacity: 320

The John Henry Brookes Building boasts a standalone lecture theatre located at the main entrance for large events/conferences. The building has a number of flexible conference spaces including a further two lecture theatres seating, twenty meeting/classrooms, and various exhibition/catering areas. There are two restaurants ideal for conference catering: the Terrace with seating for up to 300 delegates and Taylors Yard Restaurant with seating for up to 80 delegates.

Clerici Building

Capacity: 476

Clerici is an architecturally award-winning building that hosts over thirty meeting/classrooms, a collaborative lecture theatre, social spaces, external landscaped areas, and our largest conference space, the Sir Kenneth Wheare Hall. Sir Kenneth Wheare Hall is a flexible and dynamic space with its own entrance and loading bay for large events, conferences, fairs, and exhibitions. The moveable partition wall enables the hall to be split into two conference spaces. The wall can be lowered after the plenary session. The flat half capacity is 200 and the tiered half capacity is 276.

Sir Kenneth Wheare Hall

  • Flexible and dynamic space with its own entrance and loading bay
  • Large flat space of 419 square metres including a stage area with full AV
  • The hall can be split into two rooms
  • Smaller rooms, and breakout spaces available nearby
  • Foyer area and the hall walkways are suitable for extended exhibition area, and registrations
  • Informal breakout areas furnished with modern seating and tables complete with power outlets, giving you a fantastic space for breaks and networking
  • On site cafe.

Additional Facilities

All areas benefit from free WiFi.

We have a number of options to help support your event from trestle tables, poster boards to additional AV support. We work with our trusted and local event suppliers for items we don’t hold in stock.

Parking

Car parking is not available Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm and we encourage you to use public transport wherever possible. We advise delegates to use Thornhill Park and Ride which is a 15-minute ride away. Please see how to find us for information.

For evening events, limited parking is available at Gipsy Lane from 5.30 pm and is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis with no pre-booking. Weekend parking is limited and subject to availability.
