Semester Brookes Sport Memberships

Get ready for another year of movement. Semester Memberships are returning for the 2025/26 academic year!

These short-term memberships offer excellent value and access to Brookes Sport facilities. Ideal for students who want flexibility without committing to a full year.

Semester Membership Options

For both Semester 1 and Semester 2, student membership prices are:

  • Semester Fitness Membership: £70
    • Includes access to the gym and fitness classes.
  • Semester Summit Membership: £90
    • Includes everything in the Fitness Membership plus access to the climbing and bouldering facilities.
Semester Memberships are available from the Brookes Sport receptions and via our Join Online Portal. If you are buying online and already have a Brookes Sport account, please ensure you log in when prompted. 
  • Semester 1 Memberships: On sale from 1 September 2025, valid until 31 January 2026
  • Semester 2 Memberships: On from 2 January 2026, valid until 31 May 2026

Exclusive Offer for TEAMBrookes Student-Athletes

If you are a TEAMBrookes Student-Athlete and purchase a full £170 TEAMBrookes Membership (TBM), you are eligible for a discounted Annual Membership. These can only be purchased at reception. Please bring your Student ID and email confirmation of your TBM purchase so we can verify your eligibility.

Note: Students with a Development/Intramural £45 Membership are not eligible for these discounted memberships.

Discounted membership pricing

  • Annual Fitness Membership: £100 (includes BUCS UNIversal access, allowing use of other participating university gyms, October 2025)
  • Annual Summit Membership: £135 (only eligible to Climb Club members who have purchased the £170 TBM; includes BUCS UNIversal access)

If you would like to use the gym prior to purchasing your TBM, you can buy a Semester Membership online or at reception. When you later purchase your discounted annual membership, you will be able to pay the difference at reception upon proof of eligibility.
