Oxford Brookes University provides Office 365 on all public computers across all campuses. A migration from MS Office 2016 to MS Office 2019 was completed in August 2024.

Study options include:

Office 365 self-study

Office 365 self study guides are available as PDF files, from introductory to advanced level for Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. There is little difference between Office 365, MS Office 2016, MS Office 2019, therefore the content is suitable for users of Office 365. There are changes to the interface, and with the introduction of OneDrive, the ability to manage, store and share documents.

Click on the Contact IT Training button to request access to online training for OneDrive, or to request access to PDF workbooks for level 1, 2, or 3. Level 1 is introductory, Level 3 is advanced. Please note that access to training workbooks is given on strict condition that they are only used by members of the University.
