George Chopping

  • George Chopping lives on a boat. He has written a collection of poems entitled Smoking With Crohn’s which is published by Unbound (available here). Chopping also hosts a cabaret style night called ‘George’s Jamboree of Music, Poetry & Comedy…Possibly’ on the first Monday of every month at the Jam Factory Arts Centre in Oxford.

    George’s future plans include performances at Wilderness Festival, Hay Festival, Port Eliot (possibly), Al Fresco (Run by Pete Lawrence: Big Chill Founder and possibly some lit fests in Ireland too.

    He also hopes to take his debutcollection of verse, Smoking With Crohn’s to the Edinburgh Fringe in August as the basis for what will be his first one-man show.
