Oxford is a great city to study Social Sciences, and at Oxford Brookes we provide several opportunities for both organised trips and individual support for field-work in the Oxford region, London, and abroad. Our students often tell us that trips are a highlight of their years studying with us, and the chance to spend a few days with their course mates is the perfect chance to get to know each other and the subject.
We reguarly run field trips to Malta and Spain where you conduct research that can help you with your dissertation.
We take our students on field trips in Oxfordshire, London, and abroad.
In October each year we organise an optional 3-day trip to the Apenheul primate sanctuary in the Netherlands. Apenheul houses over 30 different types of primates, including bonobos, orangutans, and gorillas. Uniquely, many of the primates roam freely in the forest and between the public.
