The study of Politics and International Relations is the study of power in local and national settings, as well as internationally. It examines some of the critical issues of modern and contemporary times, such as the changing nature of international co-operation and conflict, the character of democratic and non-democratic regimes, the new face of warfare, and the persistence of world issues such as poverty, migration and global environmental change.
