  • From 2019/20, all new requests for major change projects will be made through the Annual Strategic Planning cycle.

    Aligning the initiation of major projects with the strategic planning process will enable better planning, prioritisation, stakeholder engagement, communication and resource management, and therefore ultimately achieve greater project success.

    At the start of the Annual Strategic Planning cycle, the Strategic Change & Programme Governance Team will engage with all Faculties & Directorates to identify major change and work with them to develop Project Mandates.

    These mandates will be reviewed as a whole, approved and then prioritised by the Strategic Change Board against the existing change portfolio, thereby ensuring resources remain aligned to delivering the biggest cost-benefit against Brookes’ strategic priorities.
