CECD works with educational professionals, institutions and businesses on a national and international scale. We have delivered a number of bespoke programmes, ranging from in-school training to programme design and implementation. CECD has also provided contract research for a variety of clients, improving best practise and developing professional development.
The School of Education’s Primary NQT training programme is run in partnership with the Oxfordshire Teaching School’s Alliance (OTSA). Our bespoke programme provides NQTs with an opportunity to reflect on their practice and integrate further ideas and approaches to develop their teaching. Facilitators work closely with experienced colleagues in OTSA partner schools in order to ensure that the sessions are relevant to the context within which the NQTs are working.
CECD has partnered with the DownLand Alliance to provide bespoke CPD courses, including specialist NQT training programmes, in order to meet emerging priorities and career development needs while remaining focused on pupil outcomes.

Through a series of scoping exercises and workshops with Mexican and UK academics, the CECD team mapped existing evidence of best practice as well as emerging challenges in the development of doctoral students.
CECD is part of an ongoing project working with the Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia to deliver an innovative programme of UK-based teacher professional development. The aim of this programme is for participants to lead innovative change in the Saudi education system, drawing on their engagement with cutting-edge research and excellent practice in UK schools.
