Oxford Brookes University has set up a Bibliotherapy Scheme to support students suffering mild to moderate symptoms of anxiety, depression, or a range of common emotional difficulties. Bibliotherapy is a term used to cover the use of self-help books to address mental and emotional concerns.
Oxford Brookes University has partnered with FIKA, a company supporting an app-based mental fitness programme, to provide students with access to a specially designed set of apps to help them engage in practical ways to cope during the pandemic. The app offers students access to a dedicated series of programmes on topics including managing distractions and uncertainty, maintaining motivation and positivity, staying connected, self-care and healthy habits.
