Exchange and Study Abroad students
As an exchange or study abroad student, you will be studying 4 to 5 single modules. The modules you have chosen as part of your application process will be added automatically to your programme of study.
Once you are fully enrolled, you will be able to view your modules through your Student Information portal. The Global Engagement Team will contact you if your modules are not approved or if they require changes for any reason (such as if your timetable clashes).
During Induction Week, make sure you follow your course induction schedule below. This must take priority over any other events.
While most of these activities won’t change, there could be small changes to timings and locations, so make sure to check back here regularly for any updates.
Don’t forget to complete your online enrolment.

| 2:30pm - 3:30pm | Workshop: UK academic culture - what to expect Studying in another country provides an excellent opportunity to explore a new culture and learn new perspectives. However, adapting to new ways of studying and living in a new culture can be challenging. This session aims to provide you with information to help you to adapt and give you the chance to speak to current international students about their experience.

Academic Adviser meetings
If you are studying at least two Business modules, you will find out who your Academic Adviser is and how to meet with them when you go to the Business welcome meeting on Wednesday.
If you are taking other modules, you can log on to your Student Information Portal to see your Academic Adviser's name. You will then be able to email them from your University email account if you have any questions about your modules or your studies.
