Online platforms

As a student of Oxford Brookes you'll be expected to become familiar with a few different online platforms and systems. Here we will introduce the two you are likely to use the most over Induction Week and the beginning of semester: your Student Information portal and Moodle.

To log in to either of these platforms, please use your User ID (student number) and the password you created when you were invited to enrol. Read more about online enrolment

Your Student Information

You will encounter the Student Information portal first as it's where you log in to enrol. It holds some key information about you and your studies and is where you will complete some important administrative tasks. You will use it to:

Complete your online enrolment each year
Register your modules
Check who your Academic Adviser is (you will also find out during your induction)
Request official documents like attendance letters and Council Tax forms

If relevant, you can also use it to:

Update your personal information, including your preferred name
Pay your tuition fees (more ways to pay your tuition fees)

Moodle

Moodle is the Oxford Brookes University Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). You'll be able to access it once you have enrolled. You will use Moodle to:

Register your attendance at classes
Access course resources
Submit assignments
Complete general training modules like the mandatory sexual consent module.
