Online enrolment

If you are a new student, we will notify you when you can enrol by sending you two emails:

• The first email will confirm your User ID (student number) and invite you to enrol
• The second email will ask you to set up a password using the link provided

Please ensure that we have a working email address on file for you. If you applied to Oxford Brookes using a school or college email address this will most likely be deactivated by the time enrolment opens, so you will need to update your email address with us via UCAS track or by contacting enrolment@brookes.ac.uk. Please include your full name and date of birth in the email so the team can locate your student profile.

If you have received your email and set up your password, you can begin online enrolment.

If you are a continuing student, you will be notified via email when enrolment is open for you. You can use your pre-existing User ID (student number) and password to login to your Student Information portal and complete your enrolment.

Online enrolment opens for most students on Friday 4 September 2026. Please be aware that some students may receive their invitation emails later than others. Don’t worry if you do not receive yours on this date as emails will continue to be sent over the next few days.

Other reasons you might not have received the email include:

• You do not yet have an unconditional offer
• You received an unconditional offer very recently - within the last day or so - and your details are still being processed
• You applied to Oxford Brookes using a school or college email address which has now been deactivated
• The email was sent successfully but went to your junk or spam folder

If you need to update your email address, or if you think you missed an email and need it resent, please email the Online Enrolment Team at enrolment@brookes.ac.uk. Include your full name and date of birth in the email so they can locate your student profile.

Please note that if you are a new student, you must wait for us to send you the invitation to enrol and the password link directly the first time. Do not attempt to set a password and enrol if we have not yet invited you to do so as your access will be denied. If your first password link expires, or you subsequently forget your password, you can then come here to send yourself a new link.

You can use this link to reset your login details if you are missing either of the login details needed to access online enrolment.

• If you need to retrieve your Oxford Brookes User ID (student number), enter the your personal email address that is linked to your Oxford Brookes account.
• If you need to set or reset your password, enter your User ID (student number) or the personal email address that is linked to your Oxford Brookes account.

Once you have finished all the sections of the online enrolment process, you will see the following message in your Student Information portal: 'Online enrolment is complete'. This confirms you are fully enrolled.

If you are not a UK national, you will also need to complete your Right to Study checks in order to be fully enrolled. Your Student Information portal will display a reminder message about this.

If you need an official letter to prove that you are enrolled as a student at Oxford Brookes, you can request an attendance certificate via your Student Information portal. Please note you must have completed your enrolment first including Right to Study checks if applicable.

If you would like to complete enrolment with support, you are welcome to attend the Student Induction Team's enrolment desk on Headington Campus. Feel free to bring your own device or use one of ours.
