Find your place at Oxford Brookes. With nearly 40 student sports clubs and a wide range of active wellness opportunities, the Sports & Active Wellness Fair is your chance to discover how you can move, succeed and belong.

Meet our student sports clubs, chat to the Sport & Active Wellness team, explore memberships, ask questions and find the activities that are right for you, whether you’re looking to compete, keep fit, try something new or simply meet like-minded people.

Interested in joining a competitive team? Many clubs hold team trials within the first two weeks of term, with some taking place as early as the weekend after the fair. Speak to clubs at the fair or contact them by email or Instagram as soon as possible so you don’t miss the opportunity to take part.

The first hour of the fair, from 10am to 11am, is a dedicated quieter time for anyone who may benefit from a calmer environment. Stallholders will help to reduce noise levels and create a more relaxed atmosphere. While we cannot guarantee a completely quiet or crowd-free space, we hope this provides a more comfortable experience for those who prefer it.

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the local community and develop crucial skills and work experience. The Volunteer Fair is your chance to talk with charities and find the right volunteering role for you.

Each week, we will prayerfully read a short passage from the Gospel of Mark using an ancient, step-by-step approach called Lectio Divina (which just means "divine reading"). There is no need to have any prior knowledge. Bring yourself, an open heart, and your need for a little quiet in a busy week.

Let your loved ones know how you are settling into life in Oxford with a postcard home.

Join Brookes Residences and ISAT to design and write your own postcard, and then your postcard will be sent free of charge to your chosen loved ones!
