Associate College Partnership students

Welcome to Oxford Brookes!

Congratulations on gaining a place on a course delivered at one of our partner colleges!

  • Abingdon & Witney College
  • Activate Learning
  • Bridgwater and Taunton College
  • Brooklands College
  • Solihull College & University Centre
  • New College Swindon University Centre
  • Wiltshire College & University Centre

As your course is delivered by a partner college, you are considered to be an Associate College Partnership (ACP) student. We look forward to welcoming you as part of the Oxford Brookes community.

Induction information

Most ACP students will have inductions within their own colleges and so will receive induction information directly from the college. Please look out for this in the near future.

All ACP students are welcome to attend any of the events on our events calendar. This will be released on Friday 28 August.

Animal Therapy and Rehabilitation

Students taking Animal Therapy and Rehabilitation (FdSc or BSc top-up) with Abingdon and Witney college will have an induction at Oxford Brookes. The induction schedule for this course will be available here from Friday 28 August 2026.

Business courses

Students joining the following Business coruses will have an induction day on Friday 11 September at the Oxford Brookes Headington Campus:

  • BA (Hons) Business and Management Practice (BA)
  • Business and Management Practice (FdA)
  • Business and Management Practice (BA - Final Year Entry)

You will be contacted directly by the college with the details of your induction events.

ACP student checklist

As an ACP student, you have some key tasks to complete which will ensure you have everything you need, both within your college and within Oxford Brookes. If you have any questions about this list, the Student Induction Team are happy to advise you.

Enrolment with your college

Your college will let you know whether you need to enrol with them online or in person. They will provide you with all the details of what you need to do. You can contact your college directly to find out more.

Enrolment with Oxford Brookes University

As well as enrolling with your college, you will need to complete online enrolment with Oxford Brookes. After you have enrolled with us, your student ID card will go into production. It will then be posted directly to you.

If you are a new student, we will notify you when you can enrol by sending you two emails:

  • The first email will confirm your User ID (student number) and invite you to enrol
  • The second email will ask you to set up a password using the link provided

If you have applied in late August or September, there might be a delay in us contacting you. Don't worry if this is the case - you can still enrol at the college and complete online enrolment as soon as you are eligible.

Once you have received these emails and created your password, you can proceed to enrolment.

Your student card

Your student card will go into production once you have successfully completed Oxford Brookes online enrolment. It will be sent to your college for you to collect.

Your Oxford Brookes email account

At Oxford Brookes, our email, document storage and sharing (Google Drive), video (Google Meet) and instant chat are provided by Google Workspace.

You can set up and access your email from Monday 7 September onwards provided you have enrolled with us by then. You will need to set up the email account before you can access the other Google Workspace tools. You are advised to use a Chrome browser when using these applications.

  • Go to the sign-in page for Google Accounts.
  • In the ‘Email or phone’ box, enter your student number followed by @brookes.ac.uk. For example, 19000000@brookes.ac.uk. Then click next.
  • Enter your password (the same password you used for online enrolment).
  • Follow the instructions on protecting your account.
  • Activate the two-step verification feature.

It is important to activate the two-step verification feature which adds an extra layer of security to your account by sending you an extra code to access your account. You will find this feature in your Google Account settings.

We recommend installing the Gmail app for easy access to your emails. Alternatively,  you can set up automatic email forwarding from your Oxford Brookes inbox to a personal email address. This can help reduce the number of inboxes you need to check regularly.
