Oxford Brookes University has been awarded EcoCampus Silver certification (PDF) for its Environmental Management System, aligned with the ISO 14001 standard. This achievement recognises our progress in managing environmental impacts and embedding sustainable practices across our campuses.

Oxford Brookes Sustainability Steering Group (SSG) has delegated authority to ensure the University’s sustainability ambitions are achieved in line with the 2035 University Strategy.
SSG includes representation from the students, trade union and key stakeholders of the University.
For each major area of work, we have advisory groups which report to the Sustainability Steering Group and to the Senior Leadership Team.
