Location and travel

The vibrant mix of culture, heritage and innovation makes Oxford and the surrounding area a special place to work and live.

World-renowned architecture, from classic to futuristic, including our very own RIBA award-winning John Henry Brookes Building, are all part of the mix. If the peace and beauty of the countryside is what you crave, you are never too far away. You’ll see deer in the woodland on the Harcourt Campus and kites soaring over the playing fields of Wheatley.

Oxford Brookes is committed to creating a vibrant and inclusive working environment which supports colleagues to flourish and to enjoy what they do. We are committed to investing in our surroundings that help you get the most of working at Oxford Brookes as well as contributing to our social responsibility. Our Travel Plan aims to raise the awareness of having a more sustainable environment for all users of our campuses, which promotes a range of lifestyle and travel choices.
