Ankush is based in the UK and as Senior Vice President Finance and Head of Business Partnering leads Planning and Business Performance across the enterprise at AstraZeneca. He is a member of the Global Finance Leadership Team.
Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Ankush spent several years at GSK based in the UK, US and Australia for a variety of roles including CFO for the Australia & NZ business, CFO for Global R&D and leadership of the Corporate Development group working closely with the Corporate Executive Team and Board on several M&A projects. In 2023, Ankush was appointed Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee of Bankers Investment Trust plc, a FTSE 250 listed entity.
Before joining GSK, Ankush worked in M&A with HSBC Investment Bank following qualification as a Chartered Accountant (FCA) with KPMG and is a Chemistry graduate from the University of Oxford.
