Diane McIntyre was appointed as an Independent Governor in July 2025.
She studied Economics at the University of Cambridge before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with PwC. Diane then transitioned into industry, where she has built a successful career spanning more than 25 years in senior finance roles. She is currently a Board Member and Chief Financial Officer at Tribal Group, a leading provider of education software. Her previous roles include senior finance positions at major organisations such as Sky, Vodafone, and Cable & Wireless.
Diane has a strong personal connection to the higher education sector. Her husband has been an academic for over 30 years, teaching at various universities across the UK. His passion for education and dedication to inspiring university students has deeply influenced Diane’s own commitment to the sector.
