There is no on-site parking so you must arrive on foot. Either from Cheney Lane, over the bridge over the Headington Road or via Cheney Walk from the main Headington campus.

Parking

All Brookes Sport facilities are well served by public transport with the BROOKESbus connecting all campuses, the city centre and halls of residence. Bike racks are available next to each sports centre.

We encourage use of public transport or active travel such as cycling or walking wherever possible.

Parking is subject to restrictions - please see below the relevant information for our two sports centres.

Parking at Brookes Sport, Headington

Pay As You Go users

Occasional sports users (those without a Brookes Sport membership) may park at Headington Hill during off-peak hours (16:30 - 06:59 weekdays and all weekend/bank holidays). There is a bridge that goes over Headington Road and leads to the back of the sports centre.
The first two hours of parking are free, with stays of longer than two hours attracting a charge. You will need to input your vehicle registration into the parking machines upon arrival (even if parking within the two-hour free window) to avoid a fine.
During peak hours (07:00 - 16:30) there is no parking available for PAYG users and we suggest you explore local public transport links.

Brookes Sport Members

Brookes Sport members are able to purchase a parking permit (£10 annually) and then parking is free during off-peak hours (16:30 - 06:59 weekdays and all weekend/bank holidays) at Headington Hill.
You can apply for an application for the sports member permit online by visiting the Brookes parking webpages. You will require your Member ID, which was emailed to you when you registered, or you can ask reception. When applying please use Sport and Leisure tab.
During peak hours (07:00 - 16:30) there is no parking available for Brookes Sport members and we suggest you explore local public transport links.

Please note: any Oxford Brookes student or staff who have a Brookes Sport membership are not permitted to apply for a sports permit.
