    Liquid Chalk Only

To reduce the dust content in the facility, powdered chalk and chalk balls are not allowed at present.  Liquid chalk alcohol content could also help to improve hygiene in between hand washes.

    Liquid chalk is available via reception: 150ml - £5.00, 200ml - £6.00

To further improve the air quality in the main bouldering room, we have two HEPA 14 MaxVac air scrubbers and a MaxVac air mover bringing in fresh air.

We are working with the Association of British Climbing Walls (ABC) and National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS) on a plan to run instructed sessions as soon as safely possible. At present we do not intend to run instructed sessions until later in the year. Once we are in a position to run sessions safely we will advertise a limited instruction timetable.

Due to Covid-19, all climbing courses are suspended until further notice. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. Once we are able to provide further updates on our reopening plans we will publish them here. Thank you for your ongoing support and patience.

Brookes Climb, based at Brookes Sport Headington, is Oxfordshire's premier climbing wall.

As well as being available to all Brookes students and staff, it is also open to the public, and is home to a strong local community of climbers.

We offer a range of training course, coaching and qualifications or you can simply casual climb on our three bouldering sections including our top out boulder (150+ blocs Vb-V8+), leading and top roped area (34 lines F4-7c+).

We also offer group sessions ideal for schools, youth groups, team building and parties for both children and adults.
