Clive Booth Postgraduate Centre is exclusively for Postgraduate and Mature Undergraduate students.

This hall forms part of Clive Booth Student Village complex which also includes separate blocks for undergraduate students. It is a large student residential complex surrounded by landscaped grounds and trees.

This hall is designed for Postgraduate students to have a dedicated area allowing you to focus on your studies.

All halls are self-catered with each flat having its own shared kitchen for you to cook your own meals.

Facilities: laundry facilities, bicycle storage and hall office. The hall reception area benefits from Amazon Lockers, Desktop PC's and a printer. An on site shop (Nisa) is now open.
Common spaces: cinema room, study space, wellness room, games room and bookable communal kitchen (in addition to the communal kitchen space, each flat has its own kitchen). Common spaces are in New Clive Booth and accessible to all Clive Booth residents.

Announcement Building work is set to take place on the Clive Booth Student Village site until Spring 2028. This currently includes the internal fit-out of the new Cherry Building. There will also be ongoing landscaping and a new innovative project continuing into 2026/27. This work is part of our sustainability commitments to reduce carbon emissions. The ongoing work will include increased traffic and some levels of noise at times. Good practice will be followed to minimise disruption as much as possible. Total: £7,571.05 for 38 weeks or £9,970.93 for 50 weeks
We have three 1 bedroom flats available for couples: £286.02 per week (50 weeks only) - CBPG 1 bedroom flats for couples are fully booked for 2025-26.

38 week contracts for the 2025/26 academic year run from Saturday 13 September 2025 until Friday 5 June 2026.
50 week contracts for the 2025/26 academic year run from Saturday 13 September 2025 until Friday 28 August 2026.

Academic year 2026/27

En suite single study bedrooms: £206.01 per week
Total: £7,798.95 for 38 weeks or £10,271.07 for 50 weeks
We have three 1 bedroom flats available for couples: £294.63 per week (50 weeks only - £14,689.41)

38 week contracts for the 2026/27 academic year run from Saturday 12 September 2026 until Friday 4 June 2027.
50 week contracts for the 2026/27 academic year run from Saturday 12 September 2026 until Friday 27 August 2027.

Room furniture and furnishings

Bed linen is not provided. Bedding, cleaning and kitchen/dining packs for University-managed halls can be pre-ordered through the accommodation portal after accepting your accommodation contract. Find out more on Purchasing Optional Extras.

Location

Clive Booth is in walking distance to the Headington Campus and the Marston Road Site. The hall benefits from local bus routes providing easy access to the city centre and campus sites. Buses connect the hall well to the city centre, Headington and Harcourt Hill campus. It’s also walking distance to the popular Cowley Road area, which is great for socialising!
