Judith Secker

    Judith is an Associate of the Centre. She is a past Equal Opportunities Officer of the University of Oxford and now works part-time at the University’s Learning Institute on the design and delivery of courses for university staff including:

    • recruitment and selection
    • managing people
    • equality and diversity

    Judith’s current interests lie in developmental mentoring, the impact of unconscious bias on decision making and measuring academic achievement relative to opportunity. She has given papers on her work at successive European Conferences on Gender in Higher Education, at the Summer Course of the University of the Basque Country (2005) at the Australian Technology Network, Women’s Executive Development Conference (2006) and the Engendering Leadership conference (UWA, 2008). In February 2012 Judith held a work placement at the University of Western Australia, assisting with research on achievement relative to opportunity.
