Here are some useful things you can start to think about and do before you arrive at Brookes:
Induction for courses starting before 19 September
Please see the induction dates for courses that have induction before 19 September.
These include some Education and Foundation Art students.
Foundation Degrees and Partnership College courses
If you are studying at one of our Partner Colleges you will either have your induction events at one of our Brookes campuses or at your College. From the 11 August you will find specific details on where and when your induction events will take place.

Accommodation applications for September 2022 are now open. The Accommodation team will be in contact with you about applying for accommodation so please look out for any emails from them.

Apply for your student loan
If you are looking for financial support while you study and to help pay your course fees, you can apply for student finance.
Applications will need to be approved by your parents/guardians/partner and include your household income assessment which will allow the University to assess your eligibility for a bursary.

Register for Inclusive Support (for disabled and dyslexic/SpLD students)
Inclusive Support refers to a range of specialist advice and support available to disabled and dyslexic/SpLD students and students with long-term physical and mental health conditions.

Online enrolment
From Wednesday 31 August, if you have met our conditions and accepted our offer, we will email you with the details you need to complete your online enrolment. Enrolment at Brookes is all online and as part of this process you will need to upload a photograph for your student ID card.
There will be plenty of support available to help you complete your online enrolment, with a dedicated team to contact if you have any issues. More details will be available on these pages from 11 August.
Pay your tuition fees
Payment of any fees will be made clear when you do your online enrolment and you will have instructions on how to do this with support available if you need it. Find out more information about deposits and payment methods.
Your Brookes Google account
At Oxford Brookes, our email, calendar, document storage and sharing (Google Drive), video (Google Meet) and instant chat are provided by G Suite (Google). Once you have completed your online enrolment you will be able to set up and have access to these tools. There will be videos to guide you and the Induction Team will also be available online to talk your through anything you need help with.
Register with the Medical Centre or local doctor
You will be able to register online with the Brookes Medical Centre once you have your student number and confirmed address in Oxford if your postcode is OX3 or OX4. From 11 August, there will be more information for students who do not live in OX3 or OX4. Registering with a doctor is important to make sure you can access the service as soon as you need to.
We advise you to have the Meningitis ACWY and MMR vaccines before your arrival, see MenACWY vaccine information.
We also have a dentist on Headington Campus.
