News Please note, as part of the University’s commitment to providing high quality accommodation for our students, redevelopment work at the old Clive Booth site will be continuing throughout the 2023/24 academic year. Some non-occupied parts of the site will not be accessible and disturbance will always be kept to the minimum possible, however, some noise and increased road traffic will occur during the day. Our contractors follow construction best-practice guidelines and all necessary Health and Safety precautions will be strictly adhered to throughout the project.

The price includes all of your utility bills, basic contents insurance and inclusive travel on the BROOKESbus network (BROOKESkey account required). Any partners or children who live in the family flats will not be eligible for the inclusive travel. Free Wi-Fi is provided to students across most Oxford Brookes University sites.
A complimentary internet connection in the hall is provided by WiFinity and whilst every effort will be made to ensure the connection is stable, the University does not accept liability for any loss of connection due to technical problems.
Family flats are suitable for individuals with a child or couples with a child. Please note: if you will be bringing your partner but they are not going to be a full-time student (either because they are studying part-time or are not a student at all), they will be eligible to pay council tax. The full-time student will need to complete a council tax exemption form as your status as a student will affect how much council tax your household is charged. You may be charged more if you do not declare your status as a student.
Payments
You'll pay your rent via the Accommodation Portal. Use our hall instalment calculator to view the payment schedules available to you. More information can be found on the accommodation finance page.
