Our New Clive Booth accommodation blocks - Elm, Damson and Fir opened in September 2024. Our newest building, Cherry, will be availble to current students on 50 week contracts from September 2026. This is our most premium accommodation option benefitting from double beds and ensuite shower rooms.
Clive Booth Student Village is the biggest accommodation site and is perfect for meeting new people! The site includes the Postgraduate Centre and the ensuite and non ensuite undergraduate blocks. Set in and amongst trees and greenery, Clive Booth Student Village has a relaxed but social atmosphere. The new buildings have a light-filled contemporary feel and the fit out has been inspired by our students.
All of our halls are self-catered with each flat having its own shared kitchen for you to cook your own meals.

- Common spaces: cinema room, study space, wellness room, games room and bookable communal kitchen (in addition to the communal kitchen space, each flat has its own kitchen). Common spaces are in New Clive Booth and accessible to all Clive Booth residents.
Announcement Building work is set to take place on the Clive Booth Student Village site until Spring 2028. This currently includes the internal fit-out of the new Cherry Building. There will also be ongoing landscaping and a new innovative project continuing into 2026/27. This work is part of our sustainability commitments to reduce carbon emissions. The ongoing work will include increased traffic and some levels of noise at times. Good practice will be followed to minimise disruption as much as possible. 38 week contracts for the 2026/27 academic year run from Saturday 12 September 2026 until Friday 4 June 2027.
50 week contracts for the 2026/27 academic year run from Saturday 12 September 2026 until Friday 27 August 2027.
*There are a small number of rooms in New Clive Booth on top floors with a view. If you apply for New Clive Booth, you will be able to indicate on your application if you would like to be considered for one of these rooms with a view.
Payments
You'll pay your rent via the Accommodation Portal.

In accordance with Oxford City Council planning regulations, students in University Halls of Residences are not permitted to have a vehicle in the city or at their accommodation.

Bills
The room price includes all of your utility bills and basic contents insurance through Howden.
A complimentary internet connection in the hall is provided by WiFinity*
You can also connect to free Wi-Fi on Oxford Brookes University sites.
*whilst every effort will be made to ensure the connection is stable, the University does not accept liability for any loss of connection due to technical problems.

New Clive Booth shared kitchen information
New Clive Booth has modern fully fitted kitchens containing:
- window seat
- induction and electric oven
- microwave and kettle
- Fridge/freezer
- dedicated cupboard per student
- recycling/waste bins.
- ironing board, vacuum, mop and bucket
Note: New Clive Booth kitchens have induction hobs, so please make sure you bring or buy suitable pans.
The kitchen/lounge diners also have social space with a kitchen table specially designed for Oxford Brookes using recycled white goods. The dining space contains a dining bench and chairs, easy chairs and sofa with coffee table.

Clive Booth Student Village is a 10 minute walk from the Headington Campus and a 12 minute walk from the Marston Road Site. The hall benefits from local bus routes which provide easy access into the city centre and to the Harcourt Hill campus.
