  • Two funding routes are available to support the development of teaching practice and scholarship; the Brookes Teaching Innovation Project (BTIP) fund for individuals/teams over the course of one academic year and the Brookes Teaching Excellence Fellowship (BTEF) fund for an individual to dedicate time to researching an aspect of university teaching and learning over a period of 2 years

    Brookes Teaching Innovation Project funding for 2021

    Would you like to explore an aspect of your teaching practice in more detail, perhaps working collaboratively with a team of colleagues? The Brookes Teaching Innovation Project awards offer grants of up to £3,000 for one year to support small-scale projects which work to enhance learning and teaching in your module or area of activity that promotes high quality inclusive teaching and learning. 

    Deadline

    The submission deadline is midnight Wednesday 7 April 2021.

    Who can apply

    Any colleague who teaches or supports students who are currently enrolled at Oxford Brookes University. This includes colleagues based in our Associate College Partner Institutions, Oxford Brookes Libraries, Careers, Upgrade, and Welfare for instance.

    We will be running scheduled office hours to support you with your application and these are the opportunity to gain feedback on your application before submitting.

    Brookes Teaching Excellence Fellowship (BTEF) for 2021

    Do you have a bigger project in mind, and would you like to build on your current teaching excellence, develop your scholarship of teaching and learning as you enhance your leadership of teaching and learning in HE? The Brookes Teaching Excellence Fellowship awards offer individual grants of up to £7,000 across two years to support a project researching an aspect of university teaching and learning which will have an impact across Oxford Brookes, and more widely.
