The TEAMBrookes Men's and Women's Football Clubs welcome players of all abilities and there are plenty of opportunities to play both competitively and just for fun.
Both clubs run trials following the Sports Fair on Wednesday 20th September 2023 and the best way to stay informed is to check out their Instagrams (details below).
There are 3 Men's Teams who play in various Midlands, British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) Leagues. The Men's 1st Team train and play their games at Oxford City FC and the other 2 teams are based at Brookes Sport, Harcourt.
The season always finishes with the annual Varsity game against Reading University and the Men's 1st Team plays a headliner game against Oxford University in their rivalry game. The rivalry game sees around 1,000 spectators at Oxford City FC where the Men's and the Women's Teams battle against Oxford University under the lights.
There is 1 Women's Teams who play in Tier 3 of the Midlands, British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) League. There is also a Women's 2nd Development Team that plays in the Oxford University, Inter-College Football League.

For the majority of our TEAMBrookes Sports Clubs, trials and taster sessions take place following the TEAMBrookes Sports Fair. If you miss the Sports Fair or would like to join later in the year, please reach out to the club directly through social media.

Oxford Brookes Football and Oxford City Football Club have established a partnership based around aligning activities given the locality, use of facilities, and having the same overarching goal of developing players at all levels of the performance pyramid.
The principal aim of this partnership is to enhance the player experience by providing a high quality, diverse and attractive range of opportunities to enjoy, participate in and excel at football.
For the 2022/23 the Oxford Brookes Football provision was awarded a 1-star rating through the BUCS Football Accreditation model.
This rating recognises the following achievements:
The cost of joining any TEAMBrookes Sports Club is £150 for the 2023/24 academic year, which equates to approximately £6.80 per week. Find out more about the TEAMBrookes Membership Fee.
This fee is required for each Sports Club you are competing for. Included within this cost is everything required to play your sport and access appropriate support.
Exemptions and Fee Waivers
Those in receipt of a Brookes Bursary or International Hardship Award for 2023/24 are exempt from paying the £150. If this applies to you, please complete this application form and confirmation of receiving one of these are required as part of the form.
Those selected as TEAMBrookes Sports Scholars are also waived of the requirement to make the £150 payment, as part of the performance support provided.
