Oxford is the perfect place to study hospitality, tourism and events management. Oxford is a major global tourism destination and you will have opportunities to learn about the visitor experience and connect with hospitality, tourism and events organisations across the region.
A key feature of all our undergraduate hospitality and events management courses is the opportunity to spend a year in industry through our supervised work experience or placement scheme. A year in industry is optional, though strongly encouraged, and takes place in the third year of a four-year course.
We are recognised as a centre of excellence for research in international hospitality and tourism.
Our aim is to conduct rigorous research that:
- advances academics' understanding of the management of national and international hospitality and tourism organisations and destinations,
- addresses the needs of organisations and policy makers,
- informs teaching and learning practices.
We encourage applications for research degrees that fit within topics related to these areas.
At Oxford Brookes Business School, we connect with businesses in a number of ways to enhance both the student experience and collaborate on research projects.
