Held during Freshers' Week each September, the Sport & Active Wellness Fair is the perfect opportunity to discover how you can get involved.
Meet our student sports clubs, explore our active wellness opportunities and find out how you can move, succeed and belong at Oxford Brookes.
The 2026 Fair takes place on Thursday 17 September, 10:00 - 16:00 in the JHB Forum on the Headington Campus.
The first hour of the Fair (10:00 - 11:00) is a dedicated quieter time for anyone who may benefit from a calmer environment. Stall holders will help to reduce noise levels during this time, although we cannot guarantee a completely quiet or crowd-free space.
Every March, Oxford Brookes takes on the University of Reading in Varsity, bringing our sports teams together for an action-packed day of competition and university pride.
With fixtures across a range of sports, it’s one of the biggest dates in the Brookes Sport & Active Wellness calendar for athletes and supporters alike.
Oxford Brookes has an impressive Varsity record, having come out on top in 10 of the last 13 years.
Following Reading's victory in 2026, Varsity returns to Oxford in 2027, where we will be looking to reclaim the title on home soil.
At the end of each season, the Brookes Sport & Active Wellness Awards bring our sporting community together to celebrate the achievements and contributions of our students, coaches, volunteers, clubs and teams.
From outstanding sporting performances to the people who make a difference behind the scenes, the Awards recognise success and celebrate the individuals and teams who make our sporting community what it is.
The Awards typically take place at the end of April each year, with nominations opening in advance and a range of awards recognising achievements from across Brookes Sport & Active Wellness.
